Concert Choir: The NSB Concert Choir is a full year class and is open to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students with little or no previous instruction in vocal pedagogy.  Basic vocal skills such as vocal technique, proper hand position, posture, listening, breathing, and ear training skills will be emphasized.  Instruction will also be given in the basics of learning to read and understand music.  The Concert Choir is a class that meets every day and performs in several Concerts, Festivals, Basketball games, and several Community or School functions each year.  Private study is encouraged but not required.  Thirty minutes a day of practice at home is expected.
